Changes to KTonic Home Delivery

KTonic home delivery customers,

First of all, thank you for supporting us during the ongoing pandemic. I can’t tell you how much you’ve helped us stay on our feet. When our food service customers (coffee shops, restaurants, bars, small boutique outlets) were struggling, KTonic had the challenge of trying to support our struggling retailers while also attempting to bridge the gap between you and our product. Home delivery was born and we were able to get to many a doorstep during the pandemic up to today. I am very grateful to you for supporting us through this time and we hope you felt supported by us as well :)

We are unfortunately back to a situation that warrants the continuation of direct-to-consumer home delivery in the greater Austin area and we are of course as committed as ever to contactless home delivery. However, we have been having a difficult time serving both of our home delivery clients and our direct distribution retailers in an efficient manner. In order to maximize efficiency, we are going to have to make some changes that are going to impact many of you. Starting September 1, 2021, we are implementing the following policies:

  • Two (2) case / $80 minimum per order - I know this is going to be a challenge for some of our customers but we have to make this move. With all of our costs rising, we have to maximize our delivery routes in order to keep everything running smoothly. Many of you already order 2+ cases from you, but for those that don’t, I realize fridge space is going to make this move a challenge.

  • Delivery days will be by zone and on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays - In essence this will reduce deliveries to once weekly per zone in most areas. In some cases, those who live further out in our service area will be on a bi-weekly schedule. Service zones as they are currently drawn up will remain the same for now.

  • Partner product offerings - We are going to revamp and reset our 3rd party product offerings and there’s some exciting new products we’re looking forward to distributing very soon. For now, KTonic will continue to be the prime product we’re offering for home delivery.

Our team will be getting in touch with our regular customers to help work them through this transition, including identifying retailers nearby for those who can’t meet our new minimums.

Again, KTonic is committed to serving our customers through our various distribution channels in as safe and efficient of a matter as possible. There is no KTonic without you and you were there for us when we needed it the most. We are very grateful and proud to continue to serve the Austin and Texas market!

Be well, -Greg

Welcome to the KTonic Blog

Our first KTonic blog post comes at a time of great change for our company. After years of planning (and recent weeks of continuous rain), the concrete slab for our first dedicated facility was finally poured as of early this morning. The reality of our new, now near future operational presence is prompting me to create a platform for updating our company’s progress and changes. Establishing our production facility and adjunct taproom in Hutto, Texas is an exciting endeavor that finally gives us the space to produce and create in a way we never were able to before. We are currently finalizing R&D on two new KTonic products (not flavors….products) and creating new partnerships that will continue to drive our growth. The future is bright….tempered with new challenges that we will need to tackle (only to find the next one up ahead :) ).

One note about the KTonic Tap Room: I may be selfishly and rather myopically most excited about this element of our new facility. We won’t really know the full extent of what our tap room is going to be until we are up and running and settled. At a minimum, the public can drop by and get their kombucha fix in a variety of ways, but I a lot of additional plans that can’t be approached until there are walls and a roof. This will be our first direct retail outlet and I plan on having a lot of fun creating something special for our loyal customers and the residents of Hutto. Stay tuned.

Thanks for following along and we will continue to post updates here on all things KTonic.

Be well,

-Greg Goodman, Owner and CEO
