ABOUT HAAM

HAAM provides access to affordable health care for Austin’s low-income working musicians, with a focus on prevention and wellness. Many Austin musicians are self-employed and have no access to health insurance or basic health care. They often work multiple jobs and struggle to pay for food, clothing and shelter, with nothing left for healthcare.

HAAM has helped over 6,500 musicians access healthcare services valued at over $123 million dollars since we were founded in 2005, including medical coverage, mental health, dental, hearing and vision care, wellness, basic needs benefits, and more.
